As Founder and Managing Principal of the NNN Properties Group, Mike Knudsen has over a decade of national retail leasing, investment sales and 1031 advisory experience, in tandem with an intensive aptitude deeply rooted in finance, technology, and commercial real estate portfolio theory — three key underpinnings of the group’s ethos. He has transacted and participated in brokerage activities yielding over half a billion in square feet and dollars sold.

Prior to starting the NNN Properties Group, Mike served key roles at CB Richard Ellis, Colliers and the Stan Johnson Company. His tenure at these industry-leading firms provided intensive exposure to and refinement of the finer points of brokerage across all aspects of the commercial real estate advisory industry, including landlord representation for properties ranging from single tenant retail assets to power centers and grocery-anchored shopping centers; single and multi-tenant retail net lease investment sales; and ground-up development and urban infill redevelopment advisory services on a national scale. Additionally, Mike is a licensed securities representative well-versed in advising 1031 exchange clients on Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) private placement offerings.

He remains highly active in the rapidly evolving Silicon Valley real estate tech space as a former founder, investor and advisor.

Mike received his Bachelors from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Finance. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, the Notre Dame Alumni Association, and the Chartered Realty Investors Society.
