Mike Knudsen specializes in leasing, sales, ground-up development and urban infill redevelopment of retail net leased investment properties on a national basis. Mike has a passion for real estate finance and development, and has spent the last nine years honing his quantitative skills and construction knowledge to position himself as a strategic partner capable of creating value for property investors, owners and developers of commercial space.

Mike started his real estate career at CB Richard Ellis as an associate with the Retail Development Advisory Group, actively participating in the leasing of eight commercial power center and lifestyle center projects totaling more than three million square feet and $60 million in consideration, as well as exclusive tenant representation assignments for Target and Home Depot in North Los Angeles County.

For the past 20 years, Giovanni has been managing investment portfolios consisting of real estate, commodities, and hard assets and exceeding over $150 million in transaction volume. Originally born in London, England to Italian parents, he moved to Los Angeles around 16 years ago before a stint in the European & the Middle Eastern financial markets. Back firmly on US soil, Giovanni has implemented a client-focused approach to brokerage that has enabled him to forge stellar investor relationships with high net worth individuals and institutions globally.

He has developed expertise in both the global investment arena and the US commercial real estate market that has put him in a strong position to add significant value to his client base for every transaction, regardless of its size or complexity.

As the Director of Single Tenant Net-Leased Investments for KW Commercial’s NNN Properties Group, Giovanni specializes in the daily needs subsector of retail, spanning from single tenant grocers, to pharmacies, to discount and convenience stores. He is an adamant believer in well located real estate leased to established, resilient, recession-proof national retailers that delivers great cash flow and long-term appreciation backed by strong corporate guarantees.

He is also huge advocate of leveraging technology to help deliver a superior experience to his clients all the while keeping in the forefront of his mind that real estate all ways has been and always should be about people and relationships.

Chris Edwards of KW Commercial began his career in finance as a Banker at Wells Fargo Bank in 2008, and in 2011 transitioned to investment real estate with Marcus & Millichap Commercial Real Estate. Since then he’s been an active member of the International Council Of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and has been in real estate for over 10 years.

Since joining KW Commercial in 2014, his primary focus became representing clients in the acquisition and disposition of retail properties, including strip centers, anchored centers and single tenant net-leased assets. To complement his investment practice, Chris has extensive experience in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges and sale-leaseback transactions. He utilizes this knowledge to provide clients with strategic solutions to meet their goals. He prides himself on the expertise, responsiveness, and high level of service that he provides to his clients and partners.

Chris is known for maximizing value for his clients through his hard work, honesty, and integrity. He is involved in every step of the transaction from understanding and determining property value, preparing detailed marketing packages, and qualifying buyers through his aggressive marketing efforts. This provides clients with the highest level of service and commitment for each listing. Clients consistently rely on him to continue to provide real time market information, high-level advisory services, and best in-class transaction execution to create and preserve wealth for their retail investment portfolios.

John Bunch | Director

John specializes in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of retail investments including Net Leased investments (Quick Serve Restaurants and Auto Related segments) and anchored and unanchored retail centers.

John spent the first 15 years of his career in commercial real estate as a commercial real estate lender at Union Bank and Bank of America (CMBS lending group). In 2001, John co-founded an appraisal company and a commercial mortgage banking group.

During his time in the commercial real estate business, he has closed over 200 financing and sales transactions totaling over $300MM and has consulted on the valuations of over $3B worth of commercial properties across the United States.

He relies on his experience and today’s technology to assist his clients in determining the viability of a given investment. His personal philosophy is to treat his clients’ investments like they are his own.

As an Associate with the KW Commercial NNN Properties Group, Rodney Yo specializes in investment sale transactions involving corporate-guaranteed single tenant commercial investment properties leased to national discount retailers, including Dollar General, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. He is passionate about commercial real estate and investment analysis, and enjoys working closely with his clients through each level of the acquisition and disposition process to successfully facilitate transactions that will help them reach their financial goals.

In his former career, he was a seasoned political campaign operative and fundraiser where he worked with a tight-knit campaign team to raise over $2.4 million in contributions and elect a life-long educator to the U.S. House of Representatives. Rodney holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside and a Certificate in Real Estate Investments from UCLA Extension.
